Loader Driver 40 hours Job Summary

At dnata we handle a variety of cargo, ranging from live animals through to luxury cars, ensuring it is safely and securely prepared ready to travel.

The role involves the transportation of cargo pallets, containers and bulk freight to and from Airside/Landside to bonded warehouses. You will be required to assist the warehouse and ramp staff with off‑loading/loading of cargo onto vehicles.

• Previous airport driving experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidates who wish to share in dnata's vision, mission and values.
• Previous air freight off‑loading and loading experience, or similar, desirable.
• Self‑motivated, with the ability to manage own workload independently, and work on own initiative.
• Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Full valid C + E (Class 1 & Class
  2) UK driving licence including CPC and Digi Tacho Card is essential.
• Pre‑employment checks – ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5‑year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.
