HGV Class 2 RORO​/SKIP

HGV Class2 Driver Roro/Skip Required.

Temp to Perm.

Solvit Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food recycling company based in Leicester for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Roro/Skip Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis, there is plenty of training and for the right applicant you may be upskilled to HGV Class 1.

Role Overview :

The ideal candidate will hold a HGV Class 2 licence and have experience-operating RORO (roll-on/roll-off), and skip vehicles.

You will start Monday to Friday training for a couple of weeks.

Then you will have your shift pattern off 4 on 4 off.

Start times from 06:00, 12-hour shifts.

Pay Rates:

- £15.00 during training.
- After training, you be paid £17.89 per hour.

Requirements:

- Valid HGV Class 2 licence minimum 1 year experience.

- Experience with skip and RO/RO operations.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.

- Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication oral and written.
- Complete all paperwork.
- CPC and Tacho.
- No DR, DD, TT or IN10.
