Role

Warehouse Operative – Norwich Depot, Pinetrees Business Park, Pinetrees Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR7 9BB

Hours

Monday to Friday 07:00 – 15:00
• 1 in 4 Sundays 08:00 – 13:00

Responsibilities
  • Work within a busy warehouse department and be responsible for the accurate assessment of controlled drug counts, credit returns, new products, perpetual inventory checks and other requests on warehouse items.
  • Ensure that the correct number and type of product are correctly logged.
  • Meet minimum productivity and quality standards and comply with policies and legal requirements relevant to the role.

PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution is a national full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler with a network of distribution centres nationwide. We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacies, GPs, and hospitals. All of our depots are licensed by the MHRA, and comply with BSI ISO Quality and Environmental standards. We operate twice daily deliveries from our distribution centres across Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning.

Our local teams are supported by a centralised function team, primarily from our Head Office in Runcorn. Our overarching strategy is to deliver health and to influence key segments of the healthcare system across primary and secondary care, including pharmacy, GPs, hospitals and niche markets.

Essential Skills / Experience
  • Skills: Attention to detail; computer literacy; proactive; ability to work autonomously once a task/direction is set; ability to carry out manual handling duties; numeracy and literacy skills; good communication skills.
  • Experience: Warehouse experience is desirable, although full training will be provided in the company systems and processes.
  • Qualifications: 3 grade C or above GCSEs
