General Warehouse Operative (Mandarin Speaking)

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced and supportive environment? We are seeking a motivated General Warehouse Operative to join our growing team in Desford. The Role As a General Warehouse Operative, you will be at the heart of our warehouse operation, helping to ensure goods are received, stored, packed, and dispatched efficiently. Working alongside a friendly team, you will contribute to meeting daily targets while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and organisation.

Key Responsibilities Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch Loading and unloading delivery vehicles Safely handling and moving stock, including heavy lifting of up to 20kg Storing products in designated warehouse locations Conducting stock checks and supporting inventory management Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment Operating warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and forklifts (full training provided where required) Following all health and safety procedures and company policies What We're Looking For Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience is beneficial but not essential A positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment Good organisational skills and attention to detail Physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling Strong communication and teamwork skills Fluent in English and Mandarin Additional Mandarin language skills are highly advantageous
