The Mathematical Institute of Leiden University, in collaboration with Lund University, invites applications for a 4-year PhD position leading to two doctoral diplomas. The project focuses on nonlinear wave equations with spatial inhomogeneities, using dynamical systems and functional analysis to study travelling waves.
You will start in Leiden, transfer to Lund after a year, and return to Leiden for the final year.
