Overview
We are seeking a skilled and driven  Senior Electrical Engineer  to join our engineering design office in the Netherlands. Our office specializes in the  design, modification, and renovation of pharmaceutical facilities , adhering to Dutch standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, expertise in Dutch requirements, and experience in the pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed electrical designs for pharmaceutical facilities, including power distribution, lighting, access control and utilities, ensuring compliance with Dutch standards (e.g., NEN 1010, NEN-EN-IEC 60204-1).
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Oversee electrical upgrades, modifications, and renovations to existing pharmaceutical facilities while ensuring GMP compliance.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant Dutch and EU regulations, safety codes, and environmental standards.
Provide technical support to teams, clients, and contractors, including troubleshooting and system optimization.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
Assess and review electrical systems for functionality, reliability, and safety.
Act as a key technical contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused team environment.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in pharmaceutical or industrial facilities.
Knowledge of Standards:  Strong knowledge of Dutch and EU regulations, including NEN 1010, NEN-EN-IEC 60204-1, and related safety codes.
Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in electrical 3D design using Revit and 2D using AutoCAD; experience with BIM is a plus.

Languages:

Fluent English is required; proficiency in Dutch is strongly preferred.
Problem Solving:  Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop creative and compliant solutions.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in electrical engineering or safety are an advantage .
