Site Project Execution Lead
The Site Project Execution (PEX) Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing on‑site project execution for the site to ensure safety, schedule adherence, budget control, quality, and stakeholder alignment. The role leads site teams and technical resources to execute projects from design through commissioning and handover.
Responsibilities
Report to Site Engineering Lead.
Lead a GET Site Technical function of 20+ personnel, including external partners, to deliver a capital portfolio of approximately $100 MM USD and annual expenses of $5–20 MM USD in line with the site annual business plan.
Develop and execute best‑in‑class project execution plans, benchmarking against global engineering to achieve top‑quartile performance.
Provide strategic and technical leadership for the Capital Portfolio across design, installation, commissioning, and qualification stage gates.
Own the Site Asset Master Planning Process (SAMP) and portfolio management.
Lead the Site Portfolio Planning Process (PPM) and resource management activities, defining and driving program delivery and innovation.
Ensure compliance with best practices and processes adopted across the Supply Chain (FPX, Lean, C&Q, knowledge management).
Drive Construction Safety for GET related projects, implementing EHS&S policies and procedures on site.
Maintain compliance with all local government and company regulations for health, safety, and environmental protection.
Develop internal talent and capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the Cap Ex portfolio.
Manage the PEX team through performance management, talent development, and strategic guidance.
Build and promote a “One Team” culture aligned with Credo principles, focusing on diversity, inclusion, partnership, and fast‑paced innovation.
Recruit, develop, manage, and motivate highly trained technical professionals to meet strategic business needs.
Champion diversity and inclusion within the team.
Ensure a proactive support model for Business Unit Leadership teams.
Collaborate with Global Engineering Technology, Engineering and Property Services for major capital investments and negotiate critical issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills and Proficiencies
Broad understanding of process engineering, portfolio, program, and project management.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams with strong leadership capabilities.
Technical and budgetary decision‑making for capital projects and PEX.
Critical thinking and vision setting, cascading that vision to others.
Track record working within support organizations with functional and matrix structures.
Risk management, including escalation, prioritisation, and resolution of system and support issues.
Strong collaboration and influencing skills across multiple groups.
Excellent communication, change management, organization, and prioritisation skills.
Knowledge of key technologies to enable faster, better, and more efficient manufacturing.
Ability to build partnerships and collaborate both internally and externally.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field.
6+ years of leadership and delivery experience.
5+ years of proven experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP‑regulated manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in English (required) and Dutch (preferred).
Preferred
Chartered/Professional Engineer or PMI‑PMP certification.
