Your role in the story:  As Engineer 2, you ensure the safe and efficient operation of our SSCV’s, the world’s largest crane vessels. You inspect, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in the engine room, report defects and unsafe conditions immediately, assist the Engineer 1 with repair and maintenance tasks, take on independent responsibilities, and ensure accurate administration of work. You collaborate closely with the electrical department and the deck team, contributing to deck-related technical work and supporting complex offshore operations.

Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing engine room systems and auxiliary equipment

Supporting deck and construction activities by operating compressors, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic hammers, and ILTs

Assisting in the operation and maintenance of lifesaving and safety systems

Reporting unsafe conditions and ensuring compliance with safety procedures

Coordinating with electrical and mechanical colleagues to ensure vessel readiness

Key ingredients for success

Maritime or technical vocational education (MAROF or equivalent)

2–5 years of experience as Engineer onboard an offshore or DP vessel

Strong problem-solving mindset and sense of responsibility

Excellent command of English, both spoken and written

Proactive, safety-driven, and results-oriented attitude

Team player with the flexibility to work in dynamic offshore conditions
