Introduction
Are you an experienced technical project leader looking to contribute to the future of space technology? As an AIT Manager, you will coordinate the Assembly, Integration & Test activities for the development of next‑generation flexible Solar Array systems. Working within a multidisciplinary and international environment, you will play a key role in delivering innovative satellite technologies that support missions with global impact.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical coordination, stakeholder management and project execution within one of the world's leading organizations in the space sector.

Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for coordinating and successfully delivering Assembly, Integration & Test activities across multiple development projects.

Develop and manage AIT planning and execution strategies.

Coordinate internal test facilities and test campaigns.

Ensure test execution meets quality, planning and safety requirements.

Manage technical and operational stakeholders, including Project Managers, Team Leaders and Engineering teams, throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor project progress, identify risks and ensure milestones are achieved.

Drive continuous improvements within AIT processes.

Support the successful delivery of advanced Solar Array programs.

Your profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Approximately 4–10 years of relevant experience within a high‑tech or engineering environment.

Experience coordinating Assembly, Integration & Test activities or complex engineering projects.

Strong planning, organizational and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar) and excellent Microsoft Excel skills.

Fluent English is mandatory, both spoken and written.

You currently reside in the Netherlands  and are  available to work on-site  in the Leiden area for a minimum of 32 hours per week.

Experience with in the aerospace or space sector is considered a strong advantage.

A competitive salary between €5,000 and €7,200 gross per month, based on a 40‑hour workweek and depending on your knowledge and experience.
