Facilities Engineer

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Facilities Engineer to support a highly regulated manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facilities, utilities, and equipment, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Hours:

40 hours per week
Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)

Responsibilities:

Lead daily facilities maintenance and utility operations
Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, and GxP requirements
Drive equipment excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage facilities and maintenance projects from planning through execution
Oversee preventive maintenance of buildings, utilities, and manufacturing equipment
Supervise contractors and installation activities
Identify and mitigate operational, quality, and compliance risks
Support energy-saving initiatives and facility improvement projects
Manage EHS and Quality improvement plans through the CAPA system
Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a Technical, Engineering, or Facilities-related discipline
Approximately 3-7 years of experience in facilities engineering, maintenance, or a similar technical environment
Strong experience with EHS&S, Quality Management, and facilities/maintenance operations
Knowledge of GMP, GxP, and regulatory compliance requirements
Strong troubleshooting skills related to facilities services, systems, and utilities
Experience supervising contractors and managing external vendors

Experience with project budgets, cost estimations, and performance metrics
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
Service-oriented mindset with the flexibility to support business-critical projects
