Marketing & BD Internship

Join JPP Life Sciences Marketing & BD and learn how companies working on new medicines, diagnostics and healthcare technologies bring their ideas to the market. We help these companies explain what they do, reach potential clients and partners, and create opportunities for growth. As our intern, you will help us put that work into practice.

• Research companies, markets and competitors
• Find potential clients, partners and relevant contacts
• Help prepare and send outreach messages
• Write content for Linked In, emails, websites and campaigns
• Support the planning of webinars, events and other activities
• Prepare presentations, contact lists and campaign materials
• Keep track of responses, follow-up actions and project progress
• Join client meetings and contribute ideas to ongoing projects

You are available for at least five months and based in or near Leiden. You enjoy learning, take responsibility for your work and are comfortable asking questions when something is unclear. You do not need previous experience in the life sciences industry, but you should be interested in learning about it.

• You study Marketing, Communication, Commercial Economics, Business, Event Management or Life Sciences
• You can write clearly in English
• You work in an organised and accurate way
• You are comfortable speaking with new people
• You take initiative instead of waiting for every next step
• You are interested in marketing, sales or entrepreneurship
• You are available to work full-time and on-site in Leiden

• Paid internship of at least five months
• Practical experience in both marketing and business development
• Direct guidance from experienced colleagues
• Work on real projects for biotech and healthcare companies
• Opportunities to join client meetings, events and industry activities
• Space to develop your own skills and take responsibility
• An introduction to the commercial side of the life sciences industry
