Product Marketing Lead

We are looking for a Product Marketing Lead to take ownership of the Product Marketing function at Channel Engine This is a senior individual contributor role: it plays a key part in shaping how we position our platform, bring new products and features to market, and turn sophisticated capabilities into clear, compelling stories.

In this position, you'll own and evolve Channel Engine's positioning, messaging, and value propositions across products, industries, and use cases. You'll turn technical capabilities into clear, compelling stories for both business and technical audiences.

Your role will be to lead go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and strategic initiatives: this includes positioning, launch planning, enablement, and adoption. Through research, sales feedback, and ongoing market monitoring, you'll build a strong understanding of our customers, buyers, market, and competitors. You'll turn customer, market, and competitor insights into clear recommendations for product strategy, messaging, campaigns, and business priorities.

Key focus areas include building scalable Product Marketing frameworks and workflows, and using AI and automation to improve quality, speed, and consistency.

Collaboration is key: you'll partner with the Enablement Lead to create the product narratives and content that support Sales and Customer Success, while also connecting Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success around shared customer needs and go-to-market priorities.

• 5+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B software or SaaS, with a proven track record of launching products and features and demonstrating their business impact,
• Deep expertise in positioning, messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategy - with the writing and storytelling skills to make technical products clear, relevant, and differentiated for any audience,
• A strategic thinker who is equally hands-on, able to lead cross-functional projects from strategy through to execution and link every initiative to customer value, growth, and company goals,
• A confident presenter and skilled stakeholder manager, with the credibility to align different teams and senior leaders around a shared direction,
• Proficiency in using AI and automation to scale Product Marketing work - building reusable messaging frameworks, research workflows, and systems that raise quality, consistency, and speed,
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English,
• Currently residing within commuting distance of Leiden.

• Familiarity with e-commerce / online marketplaces.
