Salary: £13.20 per hour £24000 per annum

Hours:

Monday to Friday
9am to 5:30pm (1hour unpaid lunch)

Role Overview

We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Maintenance Administrator to support our Property Management team. The role involves managing maintenance issues raised by tenants via the Fixflo system and acting as a key point of contact between tenants, landlords and contractors to ensure repairs are resolved efficiently from start to finish.

This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent prioritisation skills, as you may be responsible for managing up to 50 live maintenance issues at any one time.

Key Responsibilities

Action maintenance requests raised by tenants through the Fixflo maintenance reporting system
Liaise effectively with tenants, landlords and contractors to progress maintenance issues
Obtain repair quotations from contractors and submit them to landlords for approval
Seek and record landlord instructions accurately before works commence
Instruct contractors and monitor works through to completion
Follow up on outstanding jobs to ensure deadlines and service levels are met
Keep clear and accurate records of all communications, approvals and completed works

Support frontline Property Managers by managing day-to-day maintenance queries
Work closely with another Maintenance Administrator and collaboratively within a wider team of five

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a property, maintenance or administrative role (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Ability to manage and prioritise a high volume of ongoing tasks
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with tenants, landlords and contractors
Good IT skills and confidence using property management or ticketing software (Fixflo experience advantageous)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Calm and organised under pressure in a busy environment
