Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace industry, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate Commercial Officer to support their dynamic commercial team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals looking to enhance their skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a crucial area of the business.
Summary:- Start date:
September 2026 - Duration: 3-6 months potentially longer
- Location:
Leighton Buzzard - Pay Rate: 18.00 per hour
- Hours:
20 hours per week - Flexible Hours and Hybrid Working!
- Processing purchase orders efficiently and accurately.
- Supporting the commercial team with essential administrative tasks.
- Compiling and generating reports and metrics for the department.
- Downloading purchase orders from the customer system, obtaining necessary approvals, and uploading to the PO channel.
- Maintaining and updating Excel trackers to ensure data accuracy.
- Creating tasks in the change order system (LBIRs).
- Generating weekly and monthly metrics for departmental performance.
- Compiling and submitting ad hoc quotation requests.
- Ensuring customer documentation is submitted for approval and tracked accordingly.
- Providing general administrative support to the team.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to work autonomously. The following skills and qualifications are essential:
- Experience: Prior experience in a commercial or administrative role is preferred.
- Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
