Project Manager – Waste Water / Water Infrastructure
Location:
Stewkley (site-based)
Rate: £400+ per day
Contract:
Initial 12-month contract (strong pipeline of follow-on work)
The Role
An opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established civils contractor delivering waste water and clean water infrastructure projects. This is a site-based role, taking full ownership of delivery from mobilisation through to completion, with a strong focus on programme, safety, coordination and stakeholder management.
The scope of works includes ducting, pipeline installations, associated civils and groundworks, operating within live water environments and utility-led projects.
Project Exposure
Waste water and clean water infrastructure schemes
Ducting and pipeline installations
Civils and groundworks packages
Water frameworks and non-framework projects
Working alongside tier-one contractors and utility providers
Key Responsibilities
Overall management of site operations and project delivery
Managing subcontractors, direct labour and supply chain
Programme planning, sequencing and short-term lookaheads
Coordination of ducting, pipeline and civils works
Client liaison and regular progress reporting
Ensuring compliance with RAMS, permits and health & safety legislation
Supporting commercial awareness and cost control
Managing quality inspections, snagging and defect prevention
Coordinating with design teams and key stakeholders
About You
Proven experience as a Project Manager within water, waste water or civils
Background in water infrastructure, pipelines, ducting and/or groundworks
Comfortable working in live utility environments
Strong understanding of H&S, permits and regulated works
Confident leading site teams and subcontractors
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid required
