Leighton Buzzard GP Surgery

8 Sessions per Week | £11,000 per Session (pro rata)

We are a friendly, well-established GP surgery in the heart of Leighton Buzzard, serving a diverse patient population. Our modern, purpose-built premises support a collaborative, multidisciplinary team including GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Pharmacists, and a dedicated administrative team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our team on a permanent basis for 8 clinical sessions per week
.

• Provide high-quality primary care consultations (face-to-face, telephone, and video)
• Manage a clinical caseload including acute and chronic conditions, minor surgery (desirable), and preventative care
• Participate in practice meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to prescribing safety, referral management, and QOF achievement
• Supervise and support trainee GPs, medical students, and clinical staff as required
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using Systm One
• Work collaboratively with the wider primary care network (PCN) and community services

• 8 clinical sessions per week (flexible days, to be agreed)
• No extended hours or weekend commitments required
• Protected admin time and CPD support included

• £11,000 per session (pro rata) – equivalent to £88,000 per annum for 8 sessions
• 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave (pro rata)

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List (or eligible)
• MRCGP qualified

• Ability to work effectively within a team

• Experience in primary care in the UK
• Interest in minor surgery, women’s health, or chronic disease management
• Experience with Systm One clinical system
