Academics is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Leighton Buzzard to recruit a talented Year 1 Primary Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2026
.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their career in a supportive school with a strong community ethos.

Position: Year 1 Primary Teacher

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-Time Long-Term with the potential to become permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

As the Year 1 class teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, creating an inclusive classroom environment, and supporting pupils as they continue their transition through Key Stage 1.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Excellent classroom management skills
• A positive, flexible, and collaborative approach to teaching
