A friendly comprehensive school in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2027. The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing French.

Teach French lessons: Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and GCSE, with post-16 teaching where appropriate.

Develop language skills: Build students’ confidence in communication, grammar and vocabulary.

Promote cultural understanding: Introduce students to French-speaking countries and cultures.

Prepare examination groups: Support students with GCSE speaking, writing, reading and listening skills.

Create engaging resources: Use varied activities, authentic materials and digital tools.

Support languages enrichment: Contribute to trips, clubs and international events.

French specialist: Has excellent spoken and written French.

Qualified teacher: Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Enthusiastic linguist: Can inspire students to enjoy language learning.

Strong classroom practitioner: Uses clear explanations and effective questioning.
