- Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex engineering issues, product customisations, and application‑specific solutions.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support technical enquiries, customer demonstrations, and product training.
- Ensure that all products meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards (CE/UKCA marking, RoHS, etc.).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product performance, manufacturing processes, and system reliability.
- Manage product lifecycle from concept to production, including documentation, testing, and validation.

- Strong knowledge of UV and IR technology and their industrial applications (e.g., curing, drying, heating, disinfection).
- Experience with product development, systems integration, and engineering documentation.
- Excellent problem‑solving, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working cross‑functionally with sales, operations, and production teams.
- Proficiency with CAD software, electrical schematics, and technical analysis tools.
- Familiarity with compliance standards relating to UV/IR systems (e.g., EN 62471, ISO standards).
- Experience working with OEMs and custom‑engineered solutions.
- Knowledge of thermal systems, optics, or photonics would be advantageous.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Company pension and benefits package.
- Opportunities for professional development and training in emerging technologies.
- A key leadership role in an innovative UK manufacturer operating at the forefront of UV and IR technology.
