Contract Senior Project Lead – Aerospace MRO

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead on a contract basis to manage and coordinate the set-up of a new aerospace MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) from the UK to a facility abroad for a leading client based at their Buckinghamshire base. As the Senior Project Lead, you will take ownership of delivering a complex, high‑value MRO startup project, ensuring it is completed on time, within scope, and to the highest industry standards.

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a new MRO facility
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and risk management
• Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations and quality standards
• Provide clear reporting to senior leadership and client stakeholders

• Proven experience leading large‑scale aerospace or MRO projects
• Strong project management background (contracting experience preferred)
• Ability to manage international projects and multicultural teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Willingness to work overseas at certain times during the project and once up and running and settling in
