Care Worker

Workforce Personnel are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Care Workers to support a variety of residential and nursing homes across Bedfordshire and Central Bedfordshire.

In this rewarding role, you’ll be supporting residents with a wide range of needs including elderly care, mental health, and learning disabilities. You’ll help improve their quality of life through personal care, companionship, and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)

* Support with medication management and care plans

* Help with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration

* Provide emotional support and build strong, trusting relationships

* Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records

* Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment

* Encourage participation in recreational and social activities

Requirements:

* 6–12 months UK care experience (essential)

* A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong written English and ability to follow care instructions

* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts: days, nights, weekends, earlies, lates

* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

* Willingness to complete face-to-face mandatory training

* Ability to provide satisfactory references
