Quality Inspector Temporary

Position: Quality Inspector (Permanent, Contract, Temporary)
Role Overview :

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Operative to join our production team in Leighton Buzzard. The successful candidate will support manufacturing operations by assisting in the production, assembly, and quality control of products while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Hours:

* Monday to Friday

* 8:00am – 4:30pm

* Overtime may be available depending on business needs

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the production and assembly of products in line with technical specifications and production schedules.

* Read and interpret basic CAD drawings, technical diagrams, and production plans.

* Operate production machinery and tools safely, following training and company procedures.

* Monitor production processes to ensure consistent quality standards are met.

* Conduct routine quality checks and report any defects, faults, or inconsistencies to supervisors.

* Package finished goods correctly and prepare them for dispatch when required.

* Maintain accurate production records and complete basic documentation or data entry tasks.

* Ensure workstations are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

* Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily and weekly production targets.

* Follow all company health and safety policies and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential).

* Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings.

* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Strong teamwork and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

* Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.

* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
