Machine Operative

Newstaff Employment Services are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Machine Operative to join our client in Leighton Buzzard
. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast‑paced environment with ongoing training and development prospects.

As a Machine Operative, you will be expected to set up machines, monitor their operation, carry out quality checks, and perform routine maintenance tasks.

• Operating and monitoring production machinery safely and efficiently.
• Setting up and adjusting machines as required.
• Performing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
• Carrying out routine cleaning and maintenance of machinery.
• Reporting any faults or issues to supervisors promptly.
• Adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
• Working effectively within a team to meet production targets.

• Previous experience as a Machine Operative or in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work accurately and pay attention to detail.
• Good manual dexterity and technical aptitude.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work flexible shifts if required.
• Understanding of health and safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Temp‑to‑perm opportunity with a pay increase after 3 months.
• Full‑time hours, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm.

• Holiday accrued for all hours worked.
