We are currently recruiting experienced MIG Welders to join a busy structural steel operation based in Leighton Buzzard.
This is a great opportunity for skilled welders looking for a stable position, competitive pay and flexibility around shift patterns.
The RoleAs a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating structural steel components to a high standard. You will work from engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring all work meets the required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- MIG welding structural steel components
- Working from engineering drawings and weld specifications
- Preparing, assembling and welding steelwork
- Ensuring welds meet required quality standards
- Carrying out visual inspections of completed work
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working as part of a skilled production team
We are looking for candidates with:
- Previous experience in MIG welding, ideally within structural steel
- The ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- £18.00–£24.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Flexible shift patterns
