Up to £21.50 per hour | Day Shifts, 42 Hours per Week | Permanent

We're looking for an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join a welcoming nursing home providing residential, nursing and dementia care for older adults.

The home has been thoughtfully designed around the people who live there. Bedrooms are bright, well-equipped and individual, creating calm and comfortable spaces where residents can settle in and make their surroundings feel like their own.

You’ll become part of a supportive team delivering hands‑on nursing care, monitoring residents' changing needs and ensuring every person receives safe, responsive and genuinely individualised support.

What We're Looking For
  • Active
  • NMC registration as an RGN
    .
  • Strong clinical skills and confidence managing a range of nursing needs.
  • Experience caring for older adults, including those living with dementia
    .
  • Confidence with medication administration and management.
  • Experience completing clinical assessments, risk assessments and care plans.
  • Ability to recognise deterioration and respond appropriately to changes in residents' health.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding, infection prevention and clinical governance.

Your Role
  • Deliver safe and high-quality nursing care tailored to each resident's individual needs.
  • Administer medication safely and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Complete and regularly review care plans and clinical assessments.
  • Monitor residents' physical and emotional wellbeing throughout your shifts.
  • Recognise changes in residents' conditions and take appropriate clinical action.
  • Support individuals living with dementia using a respectful and person‑centred approach.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to members of the care team.
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, families and other healthcare professionals.
  • Promote residents' dignity, independence, comfort and individual choices.
  • Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, infection control and professional nursing practice.

All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, verification of the right to work in the UK, NMC registration checks and any other pre-employment checks required for the role.
