This is an opportunity for an experienced nurse to take on greater clinical responsibility while remaining closely involved in the everyday care of residents.
We're looking for a confident Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN) to join a welcoming nursing home providing high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care for older adults.
The home has been thoughtfully designed around the people who live there. Rooms are bright, comfortable and well-equipped, while still feeling personal and homely, creating an environment where residents can feel settled, secure and supported.
As Clinical Lead, you'll work alongside the management team to maintain excellent clinical standards across the home. You'll provide hands-on nursing care while supporting, mentoring and guiding the wider nursing and care teams.
What We're Looking For- Active NMC registration as an RGN
. - Previous senior nursing experience is essential , ideally as a Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or similar.
- Strong clinical skills and confidence managing complex nursing needs.
- Experience supporting older adults, including residents living with dementia
. - Strong knowledge of medication management, care planning and clinical risk assessments.
- Experience completing clinical audits and monitoring standards of care.
- Good understanding of safeguarding, infection prevention and clinical governance.
- Confidence providing leadership, guidance and support to nurses and care colleagues.
- Strong communication, organisation and clinical decision-making skills.
- Up to £23.00 per hour

- Provide visible, hands-on clinical leadership across the nursing home.
- Support and guide nurses and care colleagues to maintain consistently high standards.
- Oversee residents' clinical needs and ensure care remains safe, responsive and person-centred.
- Review care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation.
- Monitor medication management and ensure safe nursing practice.
- Complete clinical audits and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Support residents living with dementia using an individualised approach.
- Coach and mentor nursing and care colleagues
- Work collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance.
- Support the management team with maintaining quality and compliance
All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, verification of the right to work in the UK, NMC registration checks and any other pre-employment checks required for the role.
