Senior Community Nurse

This senior community nursing post sits within East London NHS Foundation Trust's integrated Primary Care Hub, serving mainly Leighton Buzzard. The role centres on coaching and developing nursing colleagues to keep service quality high, alongside holding a personal caseload. It involves 37.5 hours a week across early and late shifts on a seven-day rota, with a driving licence and vehicle required.

Applicants need a registered general nurse background with significant community experience and a teaching or mentorship qualification.

• Travel across sites and across Bedfordshire to meet patient needs and attend meetings

• Post-registration qualification in a relevant clinical field
• Teaching or mentorship qualification with evidence of teaching skills

• Registered General Nurse with NMC registration

• Significant post-registration nursing experience, including community setting
• Evidence of and commitment to multi-professional working

• Evidence-based practice and up-to-date clinical skills
• Sound clinical knowledge
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Fluent spoken English
• Computer literacy

• Current driving licence and access to a vehicle

• Nurse prescriber
