Installation Electrician – Fit Out / Refurbishment Contractor (Milton Keynes)

We are an established and growing Fit‑out / Refurbishment Contractor in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, specialising in commercial projects such as office fit‑outs, industrial builds, warehouses and high‑security sites. The company enjoys an excellent atmosphere, high staff morale, a friendly and approachable team, and offers room to progress.

As an Installation Electrician, you will install, test, and maintain electrical systems across commercial and industrial environments, working on office fit‑outs, refurbishments, and energy‑efficient upgrades. You will be based on site across a range of schemes, supporting our in‑house Mechanical and Electrical department and operating alongside the Operations team, Technical, Project and Contract Managers to deliver projects within required timescales.

• Install wiring, circuits, and electrical components in new builds and refurbishments.
• Carry out inspection, testing, and certification in line with BS7671 regulations.
• Install fire alarms, security systems, and emergency lighting.
• Set up structured cabling for IT and telecom systems.
• Implement energy‑saving measures such as LED lighting and EV charging points.
• Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance.
• Ensure all work meets health and safety standards and building regulations.

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• ECS Card (preferred).
• Experience in commercial installations.
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical safety standards.
