Polyformes Ltd is looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.

The role involves deliveries and collections within an approximate 110-mile radius of our Leighton Buzzard site, with regular routes covering areas including Portsmouth, Southampton, Swindon, Norfolk and Birmingham.

This is predominantly a regional driving role, with drivers returning to our Leighton Buzzard site following completion of their scheduled deliveries and collections.

This is a full-time position working 39 hours per week and would suit an experienced driver who takes pride in their work and is committed to providing a safe, efficient and professional service.

• Carry out scheduled deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured and transported safely
• Load and unload goods where required
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly
• Ensure all delivery and collection paperwork is completed accurately
• Maintain good communication with the office and customers
• Represent Polyformes Ltd professionally when dealing with customers and suppliers
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and in good condition
• Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph regulations and all company Health & Safety procedures
• Assist with other reasonable duties when required

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) driving licence
• A valid Driver CPC
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience (ideally two years minimuim driving expeirence)
• A good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• A safe and responsible approach to driving
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good timekeeping and reliability
  
  The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A flexible and helpful approach to work

• 39-hour working week (Monday-Friday only normally with earlier finish time on Fridays due to local drops that day)
