Quantity Surveyor & Senior Quantity Surveyor - Civils / Enabling Works
Location: Suffolk (hybrid site attendance)
Salary: £45,000 - £75,000 + benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading cost & project management consultancy delivering a project of national significance in Suffolk. The Quantity Surveyor & Senior Quantity Surveyor will be seconded into one of the UK's leading main contractors and supporting them deliver a planned increase in work across the project.
The OpportunityWorking within the civils and enabling works packages, you'll support the planning, delivery and coordination of key programme work streams as part of a wider integrated project team. These roles offer the chance to work on complex, high-value infrastructure packages on a high profile, major civil engineering project.
You will be expected to attend the site in Suffolk, 2-3 days per week, so this role suits applicants living within a reasonable commuting distance or those willing to stay overnight.
Key Responsibilities- Administering NEC3 contracts confidently and accurately.
- Managing payments, change control processes and commercial reporting.
- Supporting commercial governance, forecasting and risk management activities.
- Working closely with delivery teams to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and programme requirements.
- Contributing to the smooth coordination of work streams within the wider project structure.
- Commercially driven individuals with strong delivery backgrounds in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, or related sectors.
- 5+ years' experience in a commercial role.
- Solid NEC3 knowledge and hands‑on administration capability.
- Strong NEC3 expertise, confident managing change, contract administration and payments.
- Long‑term work on a major UK infrastructure programme (minimum 12 months, expected 4+ years).
