CSCS Groundworker – Sizewell C

Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CSCS Groundworker to join a major construction project at Sizewell

C.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Groundworker with strong civil engineering and infrastructure experience to secure long-term, ongoing work on a major UK project.

Your Role

As a CSCS Groundworker, you will carry out general groundworks and civil engineering activities across the site. This will include excavation, drainage, foundations, concrete works and other associated civil engineering tasks.

You will work safely within excavations, including the use of trench boxes, and carry out excavation and groundwork in accordance with site requirements. The role will also involve installing kerbs, laying ducting and associated services, and preparing areas for tarmac and surfacing works.

You will be required to follow drawings, specifications and site instructions while working safely around plant, machinery and other site operatives. Maintaining clean and organised working areas, reporting hazards and defects, and following all health, safety and environmental procedures will also be essential.

What We're Looking For

You must hold a valid CSCS Groundworker Card and have a valid SEQOSH medical. Previous experience working as a Groundworker on major construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects is required.

Experience working inside excavations and using trench boxes is essential, along with experience installing kerbs, laying ducting, excavation, drainage and general groundworks.

Experience with tarmac, surfacing, street lighting and associated works would be highly desirable.

You should have a good understanding of site health and safety requirements, be comfortable working around plant and machinery, and have a reliable, hardworking and team-focused attitude. A full UK driving licence would also be beneficial.
