£50,000 - £55,000 + Up to 5% Bonus + Training & Development + Progression to Senior Level + Healthcare + Up to 20% Total Pension Contribution + Great Holiday Days + Enhanced Paternity/Maternity + Life Insurance 8x Salary!

Are you a SHEQ or Health & Safety professional from a construction, utility or nuclear background looking to own SHEQ performance on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects?

Do you want to join a growing utility infrastructure contractor who will invest in your qualifications and offer a route to senior level within a business that keeps winning new work?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-utility infrastructure company delivering across water, electricity, gas, fibre and telecoms, in a newly created role based on the Sizewell C project following a major contract win.

In this role you will work closely with key stakeholders across the wider business to maintain SHEQ performance against client KPIs, taking real ownership of the procedures and standards that sit behind them rather than simply policing an existing system.

Alongside delivering SHEQ across a nationally significant scheme, you will receive genuine support for your professional development, including funded courses and refreshed qualifications, with a clear path towards senior level as the wider group continues to grow.

This role would suit an experienced SHEQ or Health & Safety Advisor from construction, utilities or nuclear who wants stakeholder-facing ownership of SHEQ on a landmark project, or a strong junior advisor ready to step up with the backing of a business that invests heavily in its people.

The Role:

* Work with key stakeholders across the wider business to maintain required SHEQ performance as measured by client KPIs

* Develop and enhance SHEQ procedures to exceed client expectations and meet legislative requirements

* Ensure SHEQ procedures and practice align with company standards

* Support ISO
45001 and ISO
14001 compliance across the site

* Monday-Friday, 5 days a week on site

The Person :

* Experience managing a health and safety function within construction, utilities or nuclear

* Understanding of ISO
45001 and ISO
14001

* NEBOSH Certificate

* Commutable to Leiston, Suffolk or willing to relocate

Reference Number: BBBH(phone number removed)
