Construction Sub Agent, Site Manager

We are currently recruiting an experienced Sub Agent to join a major infrastructure project at Sizewell C in Suffolk.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with a strong civil engineering background to work on a high-profile project, supporting the successful delivery of site activities while developing their career within a major project environment.

As Sub Agent, you will support the Site Agent and wider project team with the day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities. You will help ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements.

• Supporting the Site Agent with daily site operations and construction activities.
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinating labour, plant, materials and site resources.
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with RAMS, drawings and specifications.
• Monitoring progress and providing regular updates to the project team.
• Supporting the delivery of works against programme and agreed milestones.
• Assisting with inspections, quality control and site documentation.
• Identifying and helping resolve construction issues.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Working closely with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and project management.
• Attending site meetings and assisting with project reporting.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Sub Agent, Site Agent, Section Engineer or similar, ideally within civil engineering or major infrastructure.

Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills are essential, together with a good understanding of construction programmes, drawings, specifications and site safety.

SMSTS and relevant CSCS certification are required. Experience with in nuclear, energy or other highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
