Cost Manager - Nuclear Energy

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cost Manager to join a high-performing Project Controls team within the nuclear sector. You will play a key role in delivering accurate cost information, supporting informed decisions and helping ensure successful project delivery. With strong career progression, competitive market rates and a supportive working environment, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and analyse programme cost performance, including Earned Value Management.
  • Support cost forecasting, EAC, ETC and actual cost reporting.
  • Track costs against approved budgets and cost breakdown structures.
  • Support budget updates, re-baselining and forecasting activities.
  • Analyse change requests and ensure accurate cost coding.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Finance teams on accruals and contract costs.
  • Implement and maintain effective cost management systems and reporting tools.
  • Provide guidance and support on cost management processes and systems.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven cost management experience on major programmes or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting and Earned Value Management.
  • Experience with PRISM, Eco Sys, Cobra or similar systems.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Nuclear, energy, engineering or infrastructure experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts and construction is advantageous.
