Job DescriptionIf you are looking to kick start a rewarding career where you can really make a difference, join our Business Administration Apprenticeship. You will work on one of the most exciting and significant sustainable energy projects our country has ever seen, being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk that, when completed, will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.
TheOpportunity
We’re recruiting for apprentices to join our Business Administration training programme. This 2‑year apprenticeship offers the chance to gain a Level 3 Business Administration Advanced qualification while spending time in different departments at Sizewell
C. You’ll experience a variety of roles that will help you develop a wide range of transferable business skills and set you up for your future career.
Here at Sizewell C, you’ll support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal and external stakeholders. With a focus on adding value, your role contributes to the efficiency of the organisation. You will work across teams, resolve issues as requested, and develop a wide range of skills through flexibility and responsiveness.
Your Work LocationYou will be based at one of our Sizewell C offices in Suffolk (Leiston or Orwell Logistics Park, Ipswich) with placements of up to 6 months. You may also be required to travel to other locations for placements, to support other business units and to broaden your knowledge and experience of the nuclear industry. The delivery of your Level 3 qualification will be remote, but you may be expected to travel to East Coast College – Lowestoft Campus for workshop sessions.

C. Our vision is Lead The Way On Nuclear. Sizewell C is one of the largest new mega projects in the UK and is built on the same design as Hinkley Point C, another nuclear power station in Somerset. When built, Sizewell C will generate low‑carbon electricity for at least 60 years, supplying over 6 million homes and supporting around 7% of the UK’s current electricity needs.
We are the first nuclear power station in the UK to be funded under the Regulated Asset Base (RAB) funding model Our shareholder is the UK Government, with equity partners La Caisse, Centrica, EDF and Amber Infrastructure.
