Expanded Piling are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join the team at Sizewell C! This is a great opportunity for a long-term career on one of Europe's largest and most complex projects.
Expanded Piling offers foundation solutions with expertise across the UK. These capabilities include piling, diaphragm walling, installation of piles under support fluid, restricted access piling, marine piling, ground improvement techniques, sheet piling, secant and contiguous retaining walls.
Role & Responsibilities- Setting out, understanding of equipment limitations and methods
- Interpret as-built information
- Provides guidance to less experienced staff
- Completes QA documentation and record keeping
- Implements ITP requirements
Production of method statements or understanding of how they are produced - Temporary works understanding and if applicable take on the role of a TWS/TWC (Temporary works coordinator) – You do not have to be a certified TWC
- Understanding of materials and plant including call off schedules
- Aware of site HS&E procedures
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 2+ years' UK experience working on infrastructure projects
- Eligible to work in the UK / valid UK visa (this role will not provide sponsorship)
- Valid UK Driving license & vehicle
