Skills & Experience

Essential

• Proven experience managing design delivery on large, complex infrastructure projects
• Strong background in nuclear, high-security, or highly regulated environments
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Strong understanding of building design, construction processes, and UK standards
• Knowledge of RIBA Plan of Work (or equivalent design lifecycle frameworks)
• Understanding of nuclear safety principles, CDM regulations, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong organisational and leadership capability

Desirable

• Experience designing facilities against internal and external hazard requirements
• Familiarity with engineering design tools and digital design platforms
• Experience working within major capital programmes or complex infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of UK nuclear regulatory frameworks
• Additional language skills (e.g. French) advantageous

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural, Process, or related Engineering discipline
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) desirable
• Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (CTC or equivalent)
