Production Operative

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our client's production team as a Production Operative. This role is vital to ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting a safe and efficient workplace. Main Duties of Production Operative Include:

• Operate mills, bagging lines, and screening machines (including lifting up to 25kg)
• Keep production running smoothly while meeting strict quality standards
• Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting tasks
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Assist with goods movement, including loading and unloading vehicles
• Operate a forklift truck - counterbalance forklift licence is essential
• Provide cover and support for colleagues when required

To be considered for the role of Production Operative:

• C1 licence and valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Honest, reliable, and proactive approach to work

LOCATION: Leiston
HOURS: 7:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
PAY: £12.50 per hour
DURATION: Temp to Perm
