What Youll Do As a Shore Excursion Manager, youll take ownership of allocated regions and cruise line accounts, ensuring every aspect of service delivery is meticulously planned, executed and continuously improved. Working closely with Senior Shore Excursion Managers and colleagues across the business, you will:
Manage key cruise line accounts and nurture strong professional relationships both onboard and ashore. Prepare and coordinate all contracted services, including shore excursions and ground handling. Support the creation of bids and RFPs, contribute to new tour development, and assist with pricing negotiations. Make and maintain supplier bookings, resolving queries and ensuring accurate system entries. Complete post-call administration, ensuring accuracy.
Conduct pier-side checks to ensure quality delivery and represent the company during client visits and FAM trips. Build and maintain excellent supplier relationships, including negotiating competitive rates. Maintain accurate records and uphold the highest ethical and professional standards. Carry out additional reasonable duties as required to support smooth business operations. What Youll Bring Confident, clear communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
Strong organisational ability and the skill to prioritise effectively. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within a supportive team. Solid IT proficiency, including MS Office. A personable, positive and adaptable approach to changing workloads and schedules. Ability to commute reliably to the office and travel for business, including overnight stays. Flexibility to work weekends and additional hours during peak seasons.
Working Pattern Minimum 35 hours per week Core hours: 09:00-17:00 (1-hour lunch between 12:00-14:00) Weekend and additional hours required during busy periods Youll be part of a passionate, knowledgeable team who take pride in delivering experiences that exceed expectations.
