Temporary Facades Manager

Fawkes & Reece are working with a well-established UK main contractor to recruit an experienced Facades Site Manager for a major project in Edinburgh. Our client delivers high-quality construction projects across hotel & leisure, large residential and education sectors.

The Project

You will be working on a multi-storey RC frame, student accommodation scheme, with a planned completion date of July 2026. Further projects across Scotland may follow.

Role Overview

As Facades Site Manager, you will have full responsibility for the delivery of façade and cladding packages on a large, high-rise residential development, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall management of all façade and cladding site personnel

• Liaising with the main contractor, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Ensuring the façade package is delivered on time and to programme

• Maintaining full Health & Safety compliance on site

• Ensuring works meet strict quality and client standards

• Managing façade works on high-rise residential / student accommodation schemes

Essential Experience & Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Facades / Cladding Site Manager

• Mandatory experience on Student Accommodation or large residential apartment projects

• Strong background on RC frame, high-rise developments

• Proven experience with:

* Unitised facades

* Rainscreen cladding

* Curtain walling

* Steel frame systems

* Aluminium doors & windows

* Louvre systems

• Main contractor experience on projects valued at £25m+

• Proven employment history with continuity of service

• SMSTS (valid)

• CSCS card

• Must be within commutable distance of Edinburgh
