SUMMARY:

Brunswick Business & Industry Development (BBID) is the lead economic development organization for Brunswick County, North Carolina. Located along North Carolina’s southern coastal border, Brunswick County is the fastest growing county in North Carolina. We are seeking an energetic, creative, and motivated individual to join our team as Director of Business Development. The Director of Business Development interacts with federal, state, county, and local government officials as well as private-sector leaders, educational partners, organizational allies, and others whose support and participation are critical to fulfilling the mission of BBID.

Employee must exercise considerable tact and courtesy in frequent contact with the public. Employee must exercise independent judgment and initiative in completing assignments. The Director of Business Development should be skilled in research and ability to complete RFIs. This position also works with existing industry.
