For over 40 years New Hanover Medical Group - now a part of Novant Health - has provided superior healthcare and wellness for the entire family. Based out of five locations, we have 42 physicians on staff, including family medicine, pediatrics, Med/Peds and internal medicine. We are looking to bring on three additional physicians in 2025 as we continue to grow.
We have the lowest physician turnover in the Southeast! Work a 4-and-a-half-day week with minimal call. We typically see about 22
-25 patients a day with plenty of back-up available, i.e. NPs and specialists on staff. Inhouse lab and imaging. Dedicated medical assistant or LPN.
A generous two-year salary guarantee plus a comprehensive benefits package will be offered. Top 10% earnings for primary care in the US.

Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
- Completion of an accredited residency program required
- For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty
- Current MD license in appropriate state
- Board certification or eligibility
- Current DEA license required
