Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Flex/Per Diem/PRN!

Are you ready to make a difference in patient care while enjoying the flexibility of your schedule? At Mercy, we’re looking for dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team on a flexible, per diem, or PRN basis across our hospitals in Washington and surrounding communities.

As an LPN, you will provide bedside patient care in various departments, including:

• Behavioral Health
• Emergency Department
• Intensive Care Unit
• Medical-Surgical

You'll work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and maintain professional accountability for the care you provide. This role emphasizes flexibility in scheduling, with no guaranteed hours, allowing you to choose shifts that fit your lifestyle.

Shift: Various Shifts Available

• $30/hour + Variable Shift Incentive
• W-2 Employee Status
• Minimum of 12 hours every 90 days
• Maximum of 30 hours a week (Sun-Sat)
• Choose from 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts
• Work Where and When You Want!

Required

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. You must maintain a current LPN license in the state where you practice.

Experience:

• One year of recent bedside LPN experience for Med Surg.
• Two years of recent bedside LPN experience for other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.).

Certifications:

• BLS for Med Surg
• BLS, ACLS for Critical Care
• BLS, ACLS, & PALS for Emergency Department
• IV certification required

Preferred Experience: Epic experience is a plus.

This position requires the ability to:

• Push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
