Overview

Help Lemon Grove Alano Club keep their property clean and inviting for people to heal and recover from addiction.

• Cleaning
• Variety of projects

• Comfortable working outdoors and doing physical labor
• Willingness to follow instructions from site staff
• Interest in sustainability, gardening, or composting (a plus but not required)

On-site training provided at the beginning of the shift

Closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty. This opportunity takes place both indoors and outdoors

Snacks and water

Volunteers should be able to perform the following tasks: lifting, moving, mowing, mopping, sweeping, wiping, and painting. This opportunity is not able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations, and the space where this project takes place is not wheelchair accessible.

Indoor tasks are available in the event of inclement weather

The Lemon Grove Alano Club offers a safe space for individuals dealing with alcoholism and other addictive behaviors to come together, share ideas, and build fellowship.
