Overview
San Diego Pet Hospital team is looking for a Veterinarian to join our team. Our philosophy is to be fair and transparent with our clients and advocates for their pets. We offer transparency, simplicity, and options to best meet our clients' needs. Our hospital focuses on practice with a "family feel".
We provide exceptional care to our patients, progressive medicine including surgery, digital radiology, ultrasound, preventative care, lab work, and more. Our care is supportive, ethical, and empathic within a collaborative and supportive doctor and team environment.
We are located in Lemon Grove, a suburb of San Diego, and is the longest continuously operating animal clinic in all of San Diego, established in 1942. We have a well-equipped facility with a devoted and highly skilled staff. ResponsibilitiesThe successful veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care and participate in progressive medicine including surgery, digital radiology, ultrasound, preventative care, lab work, and more, in a collaborative environment. Provide care in alignment with Thrive Pet Healthcare practices and standards to meet client and patient needs.
Qualifications- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL range starting at $140,000 / year. The actual salary offered will be carefully considered in a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
