this Role

PAR Electric is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Lenexa, KS. This position will be responsible for handling day-to-day administrative functions, assisting with employee engagement initiatives, supporting our Executive assistant and the HR staff.

Salary for this position will be $20 per hour

What You'll Do

What You Will Do

  • Create, maintain, and organize employee personnel files in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements
  • Complete employment verification requests and assist with record audits as needed
  • Schedule interviews and support coordination with hiring managers and candidates
  • Sort, distribute, and retrieve incoming and outgoing mail
  • Order office and breakroom supplies; track inventory and coordinate restocking
  • Assist with invoice completion, tracking, and submission for processing
  • Support monthly employee engagement activities, including coordination and preparation of materials
  • Create and update PowerPoint presentations and other materials for meetings and employee communications
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the office and HR team
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee information
What You'll Bring

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or administrative/HR coursework preferred
  • 1–3 years of administrative assistant or office support experience (HR support experience is a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support team initiatives
