Overview

The Safety Coordinator supports the Safety Manager and project leadership in promoting a safe and healthy work environment. This role focuses on daily field presence, safety walks, coaching, and documentation to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Conduct a minimum of six (6) daily safety walks to monitor work practices, PPE usage, and potential hazards.
• Lead daily Stretch and Flex sessions and review required safety documentation (AHA/JHA/PTP/TBT).
• Engage with crews to discuss safety concerns, provide coaching, and encourage open communication.
• Identify and document hazards, incidents, and near-misses; submit daily notes/logs to site leadership.
• Support investigation of incidents and assist in tracking corrective actions.
• Help maintain site-level emergency response readiness and conduct drills as needed.
• Prepare and distribute a weekly summary report highlighting safety findings and improvements.
• Monitor contractor/vendor safety practices and report concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and safety activities.

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required (OSHA 510/500 preferred).
• Knowledge of core safety areas:
  Fall Protection, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, Electrical Safety.
• Experience in construction or data center safety support roles preferred.
• Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred; additional certifications a plus.
