Physician - Family Practice

Sunflower Medical Group is a physician-owned private practice with four locations and 35 physicians in the Kansas City metropolitan area. We are seeking a full-time Family Practice physician for solely outpatient medicine at our West Lenexa office located at 9300 Meadow View Drive, Lenexa, KS 66227. We have been rapidly growing and are looking for additional entrepreneurial physicians to join our team.

We employ a Clinical Quality Manager, a team of Care Managers as well as Licensed Clinical Social Workers which allow us to have a strong focus on behavioral health as well as overall population health for our patients.

Our West Lenexa clinic location currently has 3 family practice physicians, 3 Pediatricians and 3.5 nurse practitioners. The new physician would see patients in the clinic on an outpatient basis. There would be no inpatient rounding. Competitive starting salary, 3 weeks vacation, 1 week CME time, full benefits package and malpractice covered by the group. Partnership opportunities after 2 years of employment with 1 year on a production model.

Building ownership opportunities are available as well.

Job Requirements:

* M.D. or D.O.

* Completion of an accredited residency program

* Board Certified or Board Eligible

* Excellent communication skills and a delivery style that is welcoming and open with patients.

* Leadership skills and a "team player" attitude
