Emergency MD

Location: AR

Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM); 10 shifts per month

Position Overview

Provide emergency medicine coverage on 24-hour physician shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine coverage during 24-hour shifts
• Document patient care using the EMR (Medhost)

Facility Highlights

• Approximately 5,000 annual visits
• Approximately 14 patients per day

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Completion of residency program in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or General Surgery
• Active Arkansas medical license
• Active DEA with Arkansas address covering Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5
• ATLS certification required
• 2 years of case logs
• Proof of 40 Category 1 CME hours
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing / Onboarding Items

• Estimated privileging timeframe: approximately 60 days
