Position OverviewThe Senior Geotechnical Engineer position is responsible for engineering assignments in support of Kiewit Corporation business. This position requires in-depth knowledge of geotechnical engineering, soil mechanics, site development, and foundation design associated with Oil, Gas and Chemical, Power, and Industrial facilities. Typical projects include LNG Export Terminals, Chemical, Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Natural Gas Generation, Food and Beverage, and Material Processing plants across North America.
The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will work with interdisciplinary teams that may include civil engineers, structural engineers, architects, estimators, schedulers and construction experts to perform engineering analysis and design. Our geotechnical engineering staff supports project pursuits, awarded projects, and construction engineering. The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the production and/or review of engineering reports, geotechnical analysis, and directing the work of staff geotechnical engineers.
Overview
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design Build/Alternative Delivery team are driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects to manage their multi-disciplined design teams to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk.
